PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED

As of Wednesday, September 22, 2021, Ontarians will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide their proof of vaccination along with photo ID to access restaurants and bars (excluding outdoor patios, as well as delivery and takeout).

Ontarians currently have access to a paper or PDF vaccine receipt that includes all relevant information to prove that they are fully vaccinated. As of September 22, Ontarians will be required to show their vaccine receipt when entering designated settings along with another piece of photo identification, such as a driver’s licence or health card.

Individuals can provide proof of immunization by downloading or printing their vaccine receipt from the provincial booking portal, or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.

Ontarians who received their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine out of province should contact their local public health unit to record their information and receive proper documentation.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE MARCH 23 2021:

To our Rhino friends

Despite the Ontario government announcement that allowed patios to open on Saturday, March 20th, we are not quite ready to open up. We are postponing outdoor dining for a few more weeks so please check back in with us. We are not currently picking up the phone at the restaurant but we will provide further updates shortly.

We are looking forward to opening up again and we thank you for your patience and support. Please stay safe and healthy.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE NOV 24:

To our Rhino friends and customers,

On Friday November 20, 2020, Premier Doug Ford announced another lockdown in response to worsening COVID-19 numbers/cases and has prohibited all indoor and outdoor service for restaurants and bars not providing takeout.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Rhino Bar and Grill has decided to close as of Monday November 23, 2020. In order to slow the spread of COVID-19 and flatten the curve it is necessary for all of us to practice strict social distancing. This closure will only be in effect until the restrictions are lifted by the government and public health officials.

Thank you for your support during these unprecedented times. Please keep yourselves safe and healthy as we navigate this second lockdown.
