Great Canadian Homebrew Conference with Bellwoods Brewery

11am – 5pm (Doors open at 10:30am)

The GCHC this year will feature a new brewery on the scene, The Bellwoods Brewery may be the new kid, but they are no lightweight and are creating quite a buzz. Styles like Berliner Wiesse, Farmhouse IPA’s, Flanders Red, and Baltic Porters are far from common brews. They will be serving up samples of their best as they discuss the trials and triumphs of starting a brewery and making excellent beers.

Lunch will feature the Rhino’s finest, Mexican style, served with beers that compliment and contrast the varied tastes found south of the border.

Mitch Lagoy of Rohrbach Brewing Company in Upstate New York will be leading a technical segment for brewers of all levels on making quality beer and using unusual ingredients. He has been very successful with brewing Vanilla Porters and flavorful seasonal beers. He’ll also discuss the Rochester and US brewing scene and upcoming trends.

Awards for the Great Canadian Homebrew competition will also be handed out, homebrew tastings, and some special surprises.

This will be an exceptional day of beer and brewing, meeting fellow brewers and most of all having a great time.

The cost of this you ask? CABA has decided to institute 1990’s pricing!!!

Members $55 – Non Members $65 (which includes a 1 year membership)
